A theme that I would use to make my own mural for akins , would be pictures of studentss , helping one another . I would include every subject in my mural . Take photos of teachers talking to a student for help , and students helping eachother .
The photos will be worth devoting effort to capture because the photos will show how caring and on task akins is and as well as for the teachers and students .

Africa Slide Show Reflection .

This is a photo of an egg on the ground in africa . This photo is my favorite photo because , I love the way this photo was took . It gives feeling , and it captures more than just the egg .
Nick Brandt photographs on medium-format black and white film without telephoto or zoom lenses. (He uses a Pentax 67II with only two fixed lenses.) Nick Brandt took his Africa pictures because he fell in fell in love with the animals and East Africa .
Nick Brandt explains the reasons for the methods he uses , saying "I'm not interested in creating work that is simply documentary or filled with action and drama, which has been the norm in the photography of animals in the wild. What I am interested in is showing the animals simply in the state of Being. In the state of Being before they are no longer are. Before, in the wild at least, they cease to exist. This world is under terrible threat, all of it caused by us. To me, every creature, human or nonhuman, has an equal right to live, and this feeling, this belief that every animal and I are equal, affects me every time I frame an animal in my camera. The photos are my elegy to these beautiful creatures, to this wrenchingly beautiful world that is steadily, tragically vanishing before our eyes".

National Geographic Warm-up

This photograph is my favorite photo , because I love the way its captured . You can see by the angle it was took , the animal is running . Also , it shows the relative background .

Post - Shoot Reflection .

I like her photos because their great viewing , focused , and give feeling .
She could improve on the photos by changing angles .

Camera Parts .

An aperture is an opening, hole, or gap.

An shutter a device that opens and closes to expose the film in a camera.

an exposure is the total amount of light allowed to fall on the photographic medium  during the process of taking a photograph

Depth of field refers to the range of distance that appears acceptably sharp. It varies depending on camera type, aperture and focusing distance, although print size and viewing distance can also influence our perception of depth of field.

An f-stop is the opening that lets light into your camera. And so the numbers on the f-stop relate to the size of the opening that is letting light into your camera.

The focal length tells us the angle of view—how much of the scene will be captured—and the magnification—how large individual elements will be.

Camera History and Camera Parts .

Inside a camera obscura is a completely dark room, a tiny hole is created in one wall. Through the hole light is focused, and the outside scene is projected (upside down) on the opposite wall. The hole acted like a lens, focusing and projecting light onto the wall of the dark chamber.

In the 17th century, the modern camera came one step closer when Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding of optics and the process of making high quality glass lenses .

In 1827 Joseph Nicéphore Niépce added the final touch. He added *film* to create the first successful photograph, and the modern camera was born. He used A glass lens, a dark box, and film.

Niepce’s camera and modern digital cameras are both common because light passes through the lens, into the camera, and exposes the film.

digital cameras capture the images with an electronic sensor called a CCD.

With auto mode the camera will completely control flash and exposure.
But with program mode the camera will automatic-assist, just point and shoot. Unlike full auto mode, you can usually control flash and a few other camera settings.

The Portrait mode is to attempt to blur out the background, camera will try to use the fastest available lens setting (aperture).

The sports mode is used for freezing motion, camera will use the highest shutter speed possible.

You should do a half press on the trigger button because If the subject is somewhat off-centre, the auto-focus may be fooled.  A half-press will tell the camera that you're almost ready to take a shot and to be prepared .

Disabled Flash means no flash.

Auto-Flash is in most camera modes, Auto-flash is enabled by default and will automatically fire if the camera thinks it needs more light.

if using too much light and the picture will be washed out. if not enough light and the picture will be too dark.

The term "stop" is used in every aspect of photography to represent a relative change in the brightness of light.
